C02 Degassers

Silotank produce a range of degassers and air pollution control systems designed extensively to reduce the problem of dissolved Carbon Dioxide during water treatment. The mass transfer system whereby the untreated water is sprayed over an arrangement designed to provide a large surface area whilst at the same time producing an air flow in the opposite direction. Degassers are supplied with a standard sump tank allowing a few minutes retention however degassers have been supplied with a purpose built sump tanks to customer requirements.

These products are made in polypropylene and on larger units are reinforced with GRP to provide extra strength. Degassers are manufactured in a range of sizes custom built to satisfy customer needs, from a flow rate of 4 cubic metres up to 400 cubic metres per hour, Silotank degassers represent a proven and cost effective air pollution control system.
