GRP Covers

Silotank design, manufacture and install a range of large structural glass reinforced plastic (GRP) covers for a variety of water and waste treatment and industrial processes, including chemical tanks and industrial water tanks.

The range of tank covers includes Self Supporting, Centrally Supported Circular covers and Beam and Infill.

Self Supporting covers are designed to fit circular steel or concrete tanks. Identical radial segments constructed from easily transportable moulded GRP are fixed to each other and bolted to a central ring.

Centrally Supported covers consist of identical radial segments which are connected to a centre ring suspended from a steel bridge across the tank or supported on a central column arrangement supported from tank base.

Beam and Infill covers spanning up to 18 metres can be adapted for both circular and rectangular tanks.
