SILOTANK install New Welding Clean Room with the latest AGRU Premium welding technology
The company have invested in a new Welding Clean Room and the installation of the latest SP 110-S V3 IR Welding machine which is suitable for welding between OD 20mm (1/2) and OD 110mm (4). The weldable materials include PE 100-RC, PP-H, PP-R, PP-Pure, Polypure, PVDF, PVDF-UHP, ECTFE, PFA and Poly-Flo in PE and PP. Carbon Footprint
Over the last year Silotank have invested in reducing our carbon footprint. 2 ways that we have done this is by installing solar panels and also investing in a laser machine for our plastic work shop.Having installed the solar panels in 2015 we have been able to reduce the amount of electric imported into the business from Power NI.Earlier this year we installed a laser machine in our plastic workshop. Product Development - Pump Kiosk
Late 2015 saw Silotank respond to customer needs and incorporate a kiosk above bunds on 10m3 and lower capacities. The kiosk allows the end user to incorporate any pumps or controls required above the bund and help eliminate any pipe work out through the bund wall.
