Deutsch Butt Welding technology
Butt welding allows us to manufacture large capacity
straight thermoplastic tanks. Capacities can be manufacture up to 100
cubic metres in straight thermoplastic materials.
The reason for this development is that a butt weld is approximately 110%
of the sheet strength. Generally on sheet fabricated vessels the welds
are the weakest point on the tank, butt welding removes this uncertainty.
The strength of the welds has allowed us to increase the size of straight
thermoplastic vessels.
The butt welder is housed in an area of the factory that is dust free,
which allows us to manufacture vessels for high purity water.
