SILOTANK is a diverse plastics engineering company. In 1992 the company produced industrial water tanks, chemical tanks & silos using Centrifugal Moulding Process and today these products are still operating with little or no maintenance. The limitation in mould diameters for the Centrifugal Moulding machine encouraged the company to invest in 3 axis helical filament winding technology and a range of mandrels from 1.00 metre diameter up to 4.50 metre diameter.

In 1994 SILOTANK recruited key personnel, skilled in thermoplastic fabrication and invested in a thermoplastic Butt welding machine allowing the company to fabricate large diameter and large capacity thermoplastic tanks. This Butt welding machine was also used to produce dual laminate liners providing weld quality benefits to Dual Laminate fabrication, which allowed Silotank to cater for aggressive chemicals and environments. Through the years Silotank has gained the reputation as having the 'in-house' skills to design and fabricate complex designs for industrial water tanks & chemical tanks, bulk storage tanks etc at large diameters.

SILOTANK is a privately owned company; the key shareholders are heavily involved in the strategic planning and day-to-day operation of the business. Providing quality produce and service has been the ethos from the outset. We have a team whose key shareholders have 30 years experience in site fabrication and installation. This has allowed SILOTANK to successfully install large value projects.

Today SILOTANK remains a leader in innovative thermoplastic and GRP systems for the fabrication of tanks, silos, scrubbers, ductwork & pipework. We also now produce air pollution control systems and equipment as well as chemical resistant lining systems for steel using GRP and thermoplastic materials.
